TheSenior Secondary Mathematics Course is developed based on the new Senior Secondary Curriculum. The lecture notes (proper terms are indicated in both Chinese and English) focus on key study points, examples, exercises and examination questions, and train students to be conversant with examinations and proficient in answering questions.

Senior Secondary English Language

The Senior Secondary English Language Course follows the syllabus for respective papers, and concentrates on core and essential topic areas.

Characteristics:

• Imparts effective problem-solving skills
• Analyses questions and develops approaches to answering them
• Explores different types of writing including exposition, argumentation, description and narration
• Provides comprehensive exercises that enhance students’ performance in listening tasks
• Coaches students one-on-one, so that each student’s study needs can be met

Requirements of HKDSE (MATHS EXTENED PART MODULE 2)

• understanding of the concepts, principles and methods in Algebra and Calculus, and
• ability to apply appropriate techniques in Algebra and Calculus for solving a variety of problems.

There are Three Learning Areas and 17 learning units in the syllabus, the notes are designed according to the requirements of the syllabus, together with exercises and questions of past papers, and let students able to understand the main point of learning and the techniques of answering questions.

Secondary Chinese Language

From vocabulary building to appreciation of literature, the course aims to impart skills for reading comprehension. Students are encouraged to expose themselves to a variety of readings to gain greater proficiency in the language.

Junior Secondary English Language

The Junior Secondary English Language Course is divided into two parts: grammar and usage.

1. The ‘grammar’ component is developed with reference to the textbooks, tests and examinations of various prestigious schools. Through constant practice, students can attain a better understanding of English grammar.
2. The ‘usage’ component is developed in accordance with the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education. It incorporates knowledge and skills in the areas of reading, writing, vocabulary and listening. Students are also able to develop their analytical abilities through exposure to current affairs and various kinds of newspaper articles.

Junior Secondary Mathematics

The Junior Secondary Mathematics Course is designed based on the official Junior Secondary Curriculum as well as tests and examinations of various prestigious schools. Students are given a vast range of exercises that aim to enhance their performance in examinations.

Characteristics:

• Students are grouped into different classes according to their schools.
• Designed with reference to the levels of study and progress of learning at individual schools, so that the needs of students can be monitored and fulfilled.
• Examination skills and techniques are enhanced through exposure to a broad range of exercises.
• Regular assessments are made to monitor students’ learning progress.
